Who we are

About VEGA

VEGA is a professional water well drilling company established in 2021, providing reliable groundwater development and borehole solutions across Central, Northern, Western, and Eastern Uganda. We work closely with NGOs, foundations, development partners, communities, and district authorities to improve access to safe and reliable water.

Our services cover the entire borehole development process, from geological and hydrogeological surveys to drilling, borehole construction, pump installation, testing, and maintenance. We specialize in both manual hand-pump systems and electrical/solar-powered pump installations, providing solutions that meet the needs and conditions of each community.

Since our establishment, VEGA has successfully drilled more than 100 boreholes in districts including Omoro, Gulu, Masaka, Amuru, Kalungu, Kikuube, Hoima, Mukono, Kayunga, Iganga, and many others.

We use modern drilling equipment and advanced geological surveying technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. Our drilling technology can achieve efficiency of up to 90%, while our geological surveying equipment helps identify potential groundwater aquifers, rock formations, soil conditions, and other underground structures before drilling begins. This helps us select suitable drilling locations, reduce unnecessary costs, and increase the chances of successful borehole development.

At VEGA, we are committed to delivering quality workmanship, dependable water systems, and sustainable solutions. We also provide maintenance and technical support to help ensure that boreholes and pumping systems remain functional and continue serving communities for many years.

Our goal is simple: to use professional expertise and modern technology to help communities, institutions, and development partners access safe, reliable, and sustainable water.

The drilling log and the water test arrived with the invoice, without being asked for. That is not how it usually goes.

The training was two days and we have fixed the pump ourselves twice since. We only called once, and they came.

I exported the project data straight into our grant report. It saved a week of retyping figures out of PDFs.
