The process of getting a borehole installed

Four stages, each ending in a document you keep.

  1. 1

    Geological Survey and siting

A borehole geological survey identifies the best location and expected depth for groundwater. A hydrogeologist studies geological maps, satellite data, existing boreholes, and surface geology, then conducts geophysical tests such as electrical resistivity. The results indicate underground rock formations, possible aquifers, groundwater depth, and the most suitable drilling point.

  2. 2

    Drilling and installation

Drilling, Casing, gravel pack, flushing until the water becomes clear, then the pump instalation and development. The drilling log is written as it happens, not afterwards.

  3. 3

    Testing and handover

Water tests and a day of committee WASH training, and a signed handover certificate with the drilling log and the test results attached.

  4. 4

    Maintenance

Visit the site , Diagnose a problem and schdedule repair.

Planning a water programme?

Tell us the district, number of water points, and required timeframe. If you are unsure of the districts, we can help identify suitable districts for you. We then provide a clear quotation based on the applicable borehole depth, with all fixed costs itemised separately
