Surveyed, costed and ready to start. €9,400 covers all three hand-dug wells, the aprons and the committee training.
Three lined hand-dug wells at Kalungi, Nakasongola district, where the water table sits within twenty metres and the overburden is stable enough to dig rather than drill.
The survey is complete and the sites are agreed with the sub-county. Nothing has been promised to the community: work starts when the funding is confirmed, which is the only honest order to do it in.
